Throughout his career, Leigh has been deeply committed to the well-being of professional athletes. In the 1990s, he hosted a groundbreaking concussion conference, bringing together leading neurologists to create some of the first-ever guidelines for concussion reform. Years later, Leigh continued this fight by hosting a summit with the Concussion Institute, collaborating with Dr. Bennet Omalu, the neurologist who uncovered Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) in professional athletes.
